I was born in East LA, but I consider myself a native Oregonian.  I grew up in Woodburn, and have lived my entire adult life in the Portland area.

The FBI confiscated my first computer (a TRS-80 Model III) in 1985.  I didn’t own another machine until the mid-90′s.  I often joke about how different life might have been if I’d continued along my computing path… but the law was in my way.

I love to figure stuff out.  I do work a lot with computers – but also with instruments, recorders and cameras.  I have a home-based recording studio with some of the latest digital goodies, but also a vintage multi-track tape machine and matching console.  I’ve been singing since I was a kid, and do alright on piano and keys.  I mostly fake my way with the guitar and drums…

I’ve been working in the photographic imaging field for about 15 years.

I follow a fairly strict vegan lifestyle.  I consider myself very liberal politically.  I enjoy a good discussion, and I really like winning arguments… though I don’t always.  I try my best to understand all sides, and continue to develop my art of persuasion.
